My Write-Out-Loud DREAMS

My Workstation

Yow Kia

This is my workstation in my room. I spend most of my time here when I am at home. What a small workstation, you may say. It’s small, I just don’t need a big table to write and most importantly, my room is too small to be fitted with a big table.

I was told looong time ago that if you have dreams, write them down IN PAPER! Always write something that you are serious about IN PAPER, it will be printed in your mind sub-consciously when you write them out. Until 14-Oct-2007, I decided to clean up my room and my workstation. It was not so neat and tidy in the past.

On that day, I went to buy a piece of yellow paper and a marker pen. It’s time to write out my dreams, WRITE THEM OUT LOUD! My dreams are to BE A GREAT SPEAKER, ENTREPRENEUR! I was afraid to tell people about my dreams. I was afraid that they will laugh at me. I was afraid that they will ask too many questions about my dreams… too much afraid. Now, I just don’t care. They are my dreams. THEY ARE MINE! Of course, to transform my dreams into reality, I need to have action plans. To be honest to you, I don’t have a firm action plans yet. I’m still working on it. One thing for sure is I won’t disengage from my dreams. This is because the activities that I’m involved in and the books that I’m reading are prone to achieving my dreams. Activities involved are Toastmasters Club activities and Internet Marketing networking sessions. MUST-READ monthly magazines are “Toastmasters” and “Enterpreneur”. I find that these two magazines are very good because there are a lot of successful stories that will inspire and motivate you.

Now, with the WRITE-OUT-LOUD Dreams, I am always reminded that in my life, I still have very important tasks to work on. I am the calligrapher of my own life; I want to write it beautifully and meaningfully…

DON’T RESIST any great opportunities that come to you. INSIST to grab all the opportunities. PERSIST all the way…
